The Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges (AGB) is pleased to announce the addition of three new members to its board of directors for the coming year. They are: Shauna Ryder Diggs, chair of the board of regents of the University of Michigan and a board-certified dermatologist in private practice; Kathleen A. Dore, a member of the executive committee, chair of the governance committee, and chair elect of the University of Iowa Foundation and a senior advisor, vision and strategy, at Proteus International Inc.; and David G. Turner, chair of the board of Delaware State University and a banking executive, enterprise transformation services, at IBM. The additions were announced at AGB’s annual summer meeting held in mid-August.
In addition to these three new directors, the board will be led for the next two years by Chair David W. Miles (Drake University Board of Trustees; chief executive officer, Miles Capital), Vice Chair Joyce M. Roché (Dillard University Board of Trustees, emeriti; retired president and CEO, Girls Inc.), Vice Chair Charles R. Pruitt (former University of Wisconsin System board member; co-managing director, AB Data, Ltd), and Secretary Angel L. Mendez (Lafayette College Board of Trustees; CEO, HERE Inc.).
