A culture of innovation supports bold solutions to the challenges facing colleges and universities today. It welcomes stakeholder engagement, encourages collaborative thinking about opportunities and risks, and rewards creative approaches. AGB believes that governing boards and institutional leaders play a crucial role in fostering a culture of innovation and is committed to exploring the elements that encourage and enable innovation in institutions of higher learning.
Building on the AGB Board of Directors’ Statement on Innovation in Higher Education, the association has developed practical resources and case studies to demonstrate how institutions are pursuing innovation across the sector.
We hope that these resources prompt new thinking and discussion on a topic of great importance to our colleges and universities, and we welcome your input on resources and case studies you would like to see in this space in the future. We encourage you to reach out to messages@agb.org with these suggestions, and with examples of innovation at your institution.
