Ms. Trudi Blair’s unique background in governance from both for-profit and not-for-profit sectors makes her a highly sought-after advisor to boards of trustees and presidents. She was chair of the board of trustees at Wilson College from 2008 to 2011 and was a member of the board of trustees for 9 years. She chaired several board committees including governance, enrollment management, student life, and the executive committee. She was key to Wilson College’s fundraising capacities, including chairing the annual fund and serving on the capital campaign’s steering committee. Ms. Blair has over 25 years of experience in strategic planning, balanced scorecard/key indicator measurement, marketing, and governance in both for-profit and nonprofit organizations. Her corporate experience includes a wide variety of positions including strategic planning, marketing, finance, and engineering. At Arbros Communications, she was the senior vice president of marketing, serving as the chief marketing officer of this pre-IPO competitive telecommunications provider. At Nortel Networks, she held positions in strategy, marketing, and product line management and received the corporation’s President’s Award for her key role in delivering the breakthrough internet telephony product, Centrex IP.
