Ongoing Initiatives
AGB offers special services and resources for Board Professionals, those professionals in higher education who staff boards of trustees in roles such as assistant to the president, general counsel, secretary of the college, assistant secretary of the board, vice president, and chief of staff.
The Department of Government and Public Affairs' works to strengthen the relationship between state government and public higher education by enhancing the effectiveness of citizen governance and their trustee members. This department offers a variety of services at the state level as well as conducting original research and offering policy analysis.
AGB's work on Institutionally Related Foundations offers foundation chief executives and volunteer board leaders a wide-ranging, results-oriented portfolio of board education programs, resources, and services designed to strengthen foundations.
